Lands Design Grasshopper Components

The Lands Grasshopper components are Lands Design tools such as plants, forests or terrains, available in Grasshopper. They let you automate many modeling tasks within Rhino and Grasshopper.

By the way….

What is Grasshopper?

Grasshopper is a graphical algorithm editor included with Rhino.

Unlike other programming languages, Grasshopper requires no knowledge of programming or scripting, but still allows developers and designers to develop form generation algorithms without writing code.

It is recommended to have a basic knowledge of Grasshopper before using the Lands Grasshopper Components

Documentation:

Getting started:

Find below some simple tutorials to start using Lands Grasshopper Components.
Run the Grasshopper command to launch Grasshopper.

Lands Components can be found in the Lands tab from the Grasshopper interface. If the Lands tab is not displayed, means that Lands Design has not been loaded in Rhino. Close Grasshopper and load Lands in Rhino (just by typing any Lands command (i.e. “_laPlant“)).
