Do you know what Keyline design is? It has defined as a landscaping technique intended to maximize the use of a parcel of land’s water resources. The main idea behind ‘Keyline’ water management is to slow down, flow and spread rainwater in a deliberate and intentional way. Hence, due to this technique, natural water concentration buffers towards valleys and results in flood reduction.
Bio Inspiration studio, in cooperating with the Regrarians & Regen Network and Airbus Space (for the elevation modelling) has developed an amazing project of Keyline design. By topographic study and by analyzing the water flood, the location of ridges and valleys is indicated. Finally, they have determined different zones in their project for planting, and the construction of dams.
